After several months of use, the machine is still performing like new. Durable and reliable!
I had a stubborn clog in my kitchen drain I had to run this snake a few times but it got the job done. It’s light enough to carry around but built tough. Good value for the money and paid for itself first time used cause plumbers charge $150 just for the visit and prices go up from there.
Try to find a plumber in my area, add travel expenses, and you will wish you bought one. It's designed for the homeowner. The labeling says it works in 3/4" to 3" pipe, not sure about the 3/4", but 2", it worked great. I have a kitchen sink that needs to be cleaned at least once a year, primarily due to grease buildup. This machine has a 50ft. reach; my 25' snake just doesn't cut it. It uses a 3/8" drill drive that has forward and reverse. It is locked in place with a spring-loaded pin. The only weak link I see is the attachment head, where you connect the various heads. Cleaning it and keeping it greased to protect it from corrosion will help. The only other thing is that the power cord is a fair length, but the air switch is shorter. Meaning you will need an extension cord so you have the air switch where you can use it. Last thing: it's not for cutting through roots or anything heavy. Price, it beats calling a plumber.
Worth the price since this machine makes clearing the drain pipe so much easier.
This a great drain cleaner I've used it several times and it has never let me down but always use it with leather gloves never rubber. Rubber gloves can break your hands if it sticks.

Nice and sturdy, well made and it works!! Had a stoppage I had no luck clearing with a manual snake, gave up and called a plumber. Two employees came and tried to clear it using their power snake, they gave up on it and returned the next day to try again with a larger machine, but the bit was too large for the PVC pipe. They tried again with the other unit, gave up and said there must be pipe damage and the "Boss" would call us. While waiting for the call (which never came) I browsed Garvee and found this unit. Bought it and had it in 3 days. The 6 bits included are well made and cover about any problem. I selected the bull nose flex bit and gave it a try. Couldn't believe it, it easily went through the elbow and made contact with the "Unmovable" clog. Turn on the power and "Damn"!. A bit of resistance and then right on through!!! I went the whole length (50 Feet) of the cable to clean everything, while I was at it. Best money I've spent in a long, long, time. Great value for the money, I highly recommend. Very pleased customer, and if you think I'm happy you should see the wife!
