I’ve been melting down old rims and random scrap into clean ingots. Feels good to turn junk into something useful, and the furnace keeps up easily.

For a first furnace, this checks all the boxes: sturdy build, serious heat, and all the gear you need to get started without extra shopping trips.

The melting furnace works great. There are some preps that need to be done prior to the first burn, once it is done, the furnace works great and due to its compact design, the crucible and internal temperature increases very fast. This is a great unit if you are just starting and if this is your first time trying to get into melting metal.
