This is a great way to have some safe heat in a camping environment. I got this for some truck bed camping and having a diesel vehicle I felt this just makes sense. These have become more and more popular for such applications. This unit is a decent quality and my favorite part, has a remote! This comes with all the necessary lines and connections unless you will need more distance, hose clamps and even a small "muffler" for the diesel fume output. The tank does kinda rest freely inside the shell but is held in place by its housing. It's a nice enough setup and is way better than not having one!
Originally purchased for overland camping but then installed to heat my 2 car shop. Works great and sips fuel. Will probably use kerosene instead of diesel. Only problem is now I have to get another one.
Put out far more heat than I thought It would. Pump was quiet and didn't make the loud clicking so many talk about. Very happy with it overall. 3d Printed some legs for height. Setup was not included in the instructions but was easy to find on youtube. Very good deal for the price!
I installed this unit in my son's old RV. Installation was a snap and much to my surprise, this unit worked quite well. It's not a super power house heater and likely won't work for large open spaces.
