I bought these shelves to use in my GARVEE greenhouse because they were six feet long. Since the side walls of my greenhouse are only four feet high, after assembling the vertical pipes, I cut them in half to make two shelf units six feet long and three feet high.I wouldn't consider these "heavy duty". They're not like the similar heavy duty shelving I see locally. The vertical pipes are only 3/4 in. in diameter. However, they should fit my purpose.

I couldn’t tell by the vendor description how the 60 inch long stretch would be supported in the middle.There are clamps enclosed to join the 2 separate shelves together in each run. 8 shelves total in the box. Clamped together in pairs, they form 4 long shelves, 60” long.You can also choose not to assemble the last set of vertical poles, which is what I did. So instead of being 59.5”H, my shelves are just 40” H. It works great.

Love it. I put it in my greenhouse. This is the first I’ve seen with brackets to connect the two sections. They seem sturdy but trying to keep the heavier stuff to the other side just in case.

These worked great for me! Easy to put together and I appreciated being able to adjust the height of space for individual shelves. Some of the stuff I wanted to store was taller and I liked being able to give those the room they needed. Definitely worth the price and I am glad I bought two.
