We needed a ice maker solution for our new home. This new Zstar rocks... literally! It was producing ice within the first 10 minutes after being installed. The value, relative ease of installation (*see below) and size made it the right choice for our application. Time will tell about longevity, but compared to the costs of name brands like Bosch, KitchenAid, Thermador, Whirlpool, etc... we can afford to replace it multiple times. *Note: Use of a HVAC Condensate Pump is required if its being installed in a location where there's no drain for the gravity fed drain line. We installed an Aquastrong Condensate Pump (1/38HP).

Used it once so far and it worked great. It was damaged in shipment which is disappointing.

Works fine, but the ice cubes are attached to each other and requires a metal scoop to break them bricks up.

It is exactly what I ordered, thank you very much the quality is 100%. The settings are all easy, you can choose the thickness of the ice (depends how long it takes to make), and all in all I recommend it.

I can whip up a batch in just about 15 minutes, allowing me to produce around 3-4 gallons every hour. I bought this machine is primarily used for making frozen yogurt and ice cream, it tastes great! Significantly improved my production efficiency!

As advertised, the ice making effect of this machine is amazing and suitable for commercial use. I'm glad.
